Made promises of the outcome of the trial. Told me I had a deal if I plead guilty that would involve zero probation, only community service. Within 10 minutes of taking the deal I get sentenced to 1 year of probation. Told me I didn't have to pay due to the deceit and then shortly after threatened to sue for the non-payment. Extremely unprofessional. I had a similar experience to the documented grievances already on file for R. Timothy Kohler. Should have done more research before hiring this attorney.
Do not hire him. This guy is the worst lawyer I’ve ever had in my life over promises does not follow through on my requests, very unorganized if you get him pro bono do yourself a favor fire him. Before he ruins your career, life, family, reputation. I don’t usually do internet reviews but I’m hoping I can save you some trouble.
Tim Kolher lied, misrepresented the situation, was unprepared, distracted and according the the family court judge FAILED. He sent me a bill 11 months ago that was outrageous for the lack of work he had done. When I stated I could not continue the case due to the fees I was told by Tim that the bill was wrong and not to pay it. 8 months later I receive another bill containing the previous balance that he said was wrong plus thousands more including charges for a case that was not mine, 6 months after I was done with my case. Tim will not respond to calls or emails but he continues to harass me with these incorrect invoices. He is a con man and should be disbarred.
he took a case he had no knowledge of screwed it royally. I lost the right to adopt my foster daughter b/c he didn't know what he was doing. I will never get over that loss. I sued him for fraudlent misrepresentation and was awarded 2500.00. Do not hire him for anything. my opinion is he should have been disbarred.
