Hired Law Firm

They handled my case seriously, with great compassion and care, although it was "small beans" in the grand scheme and I was across the country from them. I was impressed from the beginning all the way through, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking redress from an insurance company who denies a righteous claim.

It was actually that they were referred to me by a legal firm, James Sokolove and Associates, that was advertising on late-night television for people who had been denied LTD claims by a specific insurance company. I did later get on SSDI without a problem by myself, first try. The firm got money for me against the LTD insurer, when no other alternative would have worked, and they did it pro bono.

The standard insurance refused to pay my long term disability claim
(as social security had denied me, initially) and the SBD law group (at the time, now SBE)
really handled things well. They were able to get a settlement when other lawyers wouldn't
dream of taking my case and I had literally given up on it!
