Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. In overall the service received can be rated as excellent. We contacted P. Messersmith law firm to file a GC application under EB2-NIW. The petition was approved in less than 30 days. During the preparation of the petition Peter and his assistant were very helpful. They closely guided us through the process and answered our questions within 24 hours. They price of the service it reasonable. We would definitely recommend this firm.
If you're thinking of hiring Peter Messersmith, think twice unless you're ok with getting a vey poor legal representation at double the normal cost!! He'll waste your money and time and intentionally will make the process extremely lengthy to charge you more. He dose not even stick to the client-attorney agreement. Very poor experience, never recommended
I hired Peter Messersmith for my OPT-related immigration case, paying him to appeal the decision. However, I had to constantly follow up, as he seemed unfamiliar with cases like mine. CBP refused to reopen my case, forcing us to submit a TRIP request. When the response came, he misinterpreted it, claiming a key provision (212(a)(6)(C)(i)) had been removed. A second request proved otherwise, yet he blamed me for seeking clarification. For my H4 visa, I paid for a waiver, only to learn at my consulate interview that it should have been filed with USCIS. The officers handled it themselves, raising doubts about the legal guidance I received. After posting my review, Jen Ren from his office asked me to remove it, offering to “take care of the waiver.” I refused, and a month later, they disputed my review, leading to its removal. After spending close to $30,000 and three years, my case remained unresolved. I strongly advise against hiring Mr. Messersmith.
I had a terrible experience with Peter Messersmith regarding my deportation case. After being deported due to an OPT issue, he charged $15,000 to appeal, but he had no clear strategy and I had to follow up constantly. The appeal failed, and when we submitted a TRIP request, he misinterpreted the response. Instead of admitting his mistake, he blamed me. His assistant, Jen Ren, was rude and unprofessional. For my H4 visa, they charged another $10,000 for a waiver, but the U.S. consulate informed me that they should have filed it directly with USCIS, not the consulate. The consulate officers were shocked at how much I had paid, and they submitted the waiver themselves. Mr. Messersmith later asked for more money to file the same waiver with USCIS. In total, I spent over $30,000 and wasted three years with no positive results. His approach is to charge as much as possible with little care for the client’s outcome. I strongly advise against using his services.
I don't know how this lawyer got food reviews but he is a horrible lawyer. He boasts a 98% success rate but I don't know how this is possible. There is no "real" intake consultation because he is not concerned with your case. He allows Jen Ren the "secretary" to complete all the intake work and she pretends? not to speak English properly and is very vague and "wishy washy". They are only interested in your money and if given the opportunity to withdraw from your account they will make numerous w
