Andre Katz is one of the top divorce attorneys in the Chicago area, and there is a reason why. Katz and Stefani were my counsel during my divorce. Ashley Wood represented me while my ex wife used two different firms. In the end Ashley did the work of two firms while trying to mitigate the costs. The opposing counsel was often slow to react and only after Ashley's numerous inquiries were we able to come to conclusions. Ashley is incredibly good at representing her clients. Her demeanor and sense of fairness were invaluable in steering us through an already difficult time. Five stars!

The absolute worst of the worst attorneys who over bill like no other and on top of that are unethical and unprofessional. Mr. Shalom (though there is nothing peaceful about him whatsoever) Bersson has no business representing women and is a disgrace to the law profession and the families that he claims to serve. He admits that he does not believe women and feels that most abused women are really not survivors (even after extensive proof was provided), proven in his email sent to his client's children's GAL (photo attached). He needs extensive sensitivity training and until received has no business representing women, mothers, or anyone who loves or cares about women.
If I could give negative five for communication I would. This was the worst experience and unprofessional firm I ever contacted. They came highly recommended and didn’t live up tot he recommendation. They never call you back and don’t answer the phone. I wouldn’t trust my children’s future in the hands of this attorney. Word of advice if you don’t wanna take a case because doesn’t fit with in your financial scale of requirement be straight forward don’t waste people’s time is very unprofessional .
