About Knott & Santoro

A law practice with equal focus on the client, the profession, and the greater good.

Knott & Santoro is currently a father and son law practice with a long history and deep ties to the state and community. The firm has been in existence in New Haven County since 1930 and represented the Town of Cheshire for over 35 years. We see our profession as our way we serve our community, employees, and families. We see practicing law to be a privilege and an honor which we take seriously. We have a truly excellent record and reputation for competence and ethics, and encourage you to give us a search online; we also enjoy what we do. We enjoy meeting new clients and solving their problems. When you do come to our office, you will find a relaxed atmosphere without pretensions. We offer every person the opportunity for an introductory meeting without worrying about payment. Some people's problems can be solved in our first meeting while other problems need our representation; regardless, we take the time to listen to your entire story and ask questions and hopefully provide you with an answer. Our goal is not to land a client, but to build a relationship. A note about our fees: We are well-aware of the public view of lawyers and legal fees. You will find our fees to be very competitive; we look at each situation individually, and come up with a fee structure that works for your particular case and financial situation. Your case may require hourly payment, a flat-fee, a contingency, or a combination of all three. We tend not to charge our clients for short phone calls or quick visits and work very hard to ensure that our fee agreement and our invoices are transparent and fair to you. Again, it is our goal to work toward building a relationship with you.

Hired Attorney Andrew S. Knott

My Google review of Andrew S. Knott is not showing up. So I am simply writing the same here. I'm warning everyone stay away from Andrew Knott. He is the worst attorney, I've ever known. I wouldn't wish this guy on my worst enemy. On July 31, 2023, Krista Mcintosh-Scalise filed a Malpractice - (Torts) case represented by Maki Law Llc against Andrew Knott. I reached out to these same attorney looking to file suit. Instead, I filed a bar complaint #25-0128 against Andrew S Knott which was accepted right away on March 13, 2025. Date: Mon, Mar 4, 2024 at 4:23 PM Subject: Re: Unclaimed Assets Andrew Knott, Please resign this week. Just resign this week. You're leaving for vacation, next week. Until the end of the month!? Underneath, you wrote that sent email, last year 2023, 3 full months and half, and nothing. On Tue, Nov 21, 2023 at 12:06 PM Andrew Knott wrote: Greetings. It has come to my attention that there are assets for each of the three of you to claim.

Hired Law Firm

I’ve never been a client of this firm and never would recommend this group of ignorant “lawyers” to anyone. If you want to speak with someone make sure you have an appointment! I wouldn’t have any expectations while walking into this establishment. This law firm is located in a 2 story house that smells like mold. Very unprofessional. Any conversation you have with the lawyers is going to be difficult. While they try to stutter their way through any conversation you will find yourself extremely lost on what they are trying to say. There’s thousands of law firms in Connecticut, save yourself a headache and have someone else represent you. This firm is filled with liars, manipulators and men who don’t deserve their title. Connecticut should really be more concerned about who they’re handing out licenses too. Law is law but at Knott and Knott they will do everything in their ability to undermine your rights. Pay them enough and they’ll break the law with and for you.
