Wegman law is a Chesapeake-based practice specializing in criminal defense, traffic defense (including DUI, DWI, reckless driving, and speeding) and military law. He represented clients in all Hampton Roads courts, most notably Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, and Norfolk. During his career as a criminal defense attorney, Attorney Wegman has handled criminal cases involving: illegal drug possession, distribution, sexual assault/rape, larceny, and probation violation. Mr. Wegman's family law / domestic relations legal services include: contested and uncontested divorces, child custody, child support, adoptions and domestic assault and battery criminal law cases. Attorney Wegman has been a lawyer for twenty-five years, mostly in the criminal defense, traffic offenses, DUI, and military defense areas. He served as a JAG Attorney, handling hundreds of Coast Guard, and Navy courts-martial and administrative separation/discharge board cases. As a Special Assistant United States Attorney, he prosecuted cases occurring on Navy and Coast Guard installations.

I was very impressed with the professionalism from the entire staff. In addition, I've found there service and consultation from Mr. Wegman is second to none. Especially, the results that he reached and obtained for me. Finally, I recommend this firm and if I ever need legal advice or representation again I wouldn't seek any where else.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything went very smooth and as far as courts go, everything ran excellent. Was able to reduce my excess speeding to Defective Equipment. Would use them again for other legal needs. Highly recommend them to others.

Mr. Wegman, along with his assistant, was so helpful. I submitted my request on-line and received a response on the same day. I found Mr. Wegman to be very approachable, confident and professional. When I think about how I was going to go to court without representation, I am so grateful that I selected Mr. Wegman and he was able to get my charge reduced significantly!!! Mr. Wegman is a very experienced attorney, and he gives 100%! He is an attorney who does his homework and he is NOT afraid to challenge an issue when it comes to defending his clients. He communicates with his clients every step of the way, and he is passionate about what he does. Mr. Wegman doesn't quit until the verdict has been rendered. Also, his fees are reasonable, and his services are worth every penny!
