I highly recommend Kristi Wooten and her law firm. A friend of mine and respected member of the Chesapeake business community suggested Kristi and assured me Kristi Wooten is the one divorce attorney opposing counsel does not want to face. The final divorce decree went entirely in my favor. Kristi Wooten wouldn’t have it any other way. In my circumstance, it really could not have gone any better. I owe this positive outcome to Kristi and her outstanding team.

Kristi Wooten is nothing short of amazing. She has a sharp memory, so everything you tell her from start to finish she can pull out - with detail -when the moment arises. You know she actually HEARS you when you speak with her. Not only is she attentive, she was personally invested in my family and their well being. Her staff was equally caring and were always available to help me as quickly as possible. I would never consider another attorney.

Kristi was suggested from a co-worker. All I can say is "You get what you pay for." If your family is important to you, then Kristi is well worth every penny paid. Not sure why her rating is so low, but I give her high marks across the board.

Average representation, not a lot of effort put into case. Don’t mind the price if the quality was in alignment with the price but was not worth what they charge . The lawyer I hired was rarely available and the most important part of my case was not done by her, but rather another attorney, less skilled. Do not recommend. Are better options out there. They also demand payment the DAY they send you a bill with no online portal to make payment, and of which bill was not sent in a timely manner by their billing department.

We retained another attorney with Ms. Wooten's firm who had to go out on maternity leave and Kristi took over. She only even attempted to accomplish one of our 3 objectives and went way over the estimate. Then she claimed, that certain things were dismissed at our request, when they weren't. Her firm forgot to continue a hearing, and then charged us to appear. She often didn't respond at all to emails or calls and had shady billing practices.

The attorney missed my discovery deadline, costing me thousands of dollars in child support payments, despite that I asked him about it 4 times in a month and half. The attorney ignored my emails! I brought this to Kristi Wooten’s attention. I asked her multiple times why this happened. She refused to answer me! Then my attorney quit and Wooten gave me only three days notice to decide if I wanted to stay with their firm or not. I was told by my attorney that if my temporary Custody Order wasn’t working out I could take my case to trial. It wasn’t, as my children were still being abused. It took Kristi Wooten 3 weeks to respond to my concerns and then she promptly advised that if I wanted to take this to trial, they would quit & she did! They still charged me for a child support hearing they were completely unprepared for though! They also failed to give me my entire file upon request and I had to follow-up. They also failed to file the Final Orders properly. Sloppy work!
