Where do I start? Donna and her team are the absolute best. From the first meeting, throughout the legal process ( 3 years for me) she is extremely thorough, consultative, and inclusive. I originally attempted to work through a process without Counsel, but It became clear I needed an attorney to represent me. I work with several business attorneys in Chattanooga and I asked them who was the best employment/labor attorney in town. Donna Mikel’s name was mentioned repeatedly. From my first meeting with Donna, she exhibited professionalism, knowledge, and skill. Her representation gave me confidence throughout the process and her communication was excellent. I was completely satisfied with the results and she will be my first call if another situation arises in which I need employment counsel.
I contacted them because a animal emergency hospital killed my dog. Apparently that kind if case wasn't in their area of expertise which is unfortunate because with an attorney I could have settled with them for about 15 times the amount I settled for. What's really unfortunate is that I had all the evidence needed to bury them in court and they knew it. I haven't received my check yet or signed anything. I'm nit joking an attorney with any knowledge of the law would win this case. Pets are like TVs or refrigerators in the eyes of the court, and they basically broke my TV out of incompetence, and indifference. Would take 30 minutes of work......but that's cool, I'll take the tiny settlement that I fought for because all of you are too high class to represent a disabled vet who's only companion was killed by a veterinarian.
