Mr. Matt Aaron Munson

I recently was faced with what could be described as a potentially serious criminal law case in the state of Utah. I have no previous experience with "trouble with the law" and I am a person that typically follows the rules of life, so going through this process was upsetting and stressful. Upon hiring Matt Munson, a lot of my questions were answered and I felt like I have someone experienced and very knowledgeable on my side. My case was less than a conventional situation, and Matt and his staff patiently followed up as I provided a ton of information in a complex situation. Matt fought hard for me and was able to achieve a great resolution that I do not believe would have happened had I not chosen to hire him to represent me. CASE DISMISSED! A complaint against me went to the city prosecutor that probably would have never happened had a city police officer gathered evidence from me prior to consideration of case submittal. I interviewed several attorneys in Cedar City wherein chose Matt Munson. He went over the case thoroughly more than once, asked me to provide all contextual and substantive evidence showing all interactions with the individual who filed the complaint. He explained that once a case goes to the city prosecutor, it seldom gets dropped or dismissed. Throughout the next several months Mr. Munson prepared our case as he prepared to move it to anticipated jury trial. However, the case was pushed out so provided a window of time for Mr. Munson to work his magic with the prosecutor to demonstrate that all evidence shows that the best course of action would be to dismiss the case. It took a few months of communicating with the prosecutor who finally agreed to dismiss the case. CASE DISMISSED!

Hopefully we will never again require an attorney, but if we should, I'd be looking for someone with Matt's ability to plead by husband's case and get him the best possible outcome. The whole office was very professional and always responded quickly to questions. Matt is the best!
