Jamie Averett was my child's guardian ad litem in 2012 for a custody case in Bartow County. Aside from poor communication, delayed reports, and shoddy personal skills, she completely overlooked evidence of parental neglect, abuse, and legal harassment. She was unrelentingly biased toward my child's father, ignoring witness statements and criminal documents going back years, instead focusing on irrelevant details she took personal issue with, like my religion. Not only did her negligence lead to years of further abuse of my child and myself, she insisted on co-parenting therapy despite me being a victim of the other parent, which led to me being brutally raped in the counseling parking lot. My child is finally safe now that their parent has died (OD'd), no thanks at all to Jamie's horrific mismanagement. I pray no child or family ever relies on her judgment again.
