Atty Sexton was on time and answered all my questions. He was fairly knowledgeable. Not an aggressive attorney. I might ask for another attorney from this office next time. I think he was new. He was polite though.

After dealing with this firm for about 4 years and still not getting my SSDI and now having to give them 25% of the total due. I am very disappointed in this firm. If I could find another firm to take over my case, I would!

My daughter whom has severe disability and schizophrenia bipolar, anxiety and has the autism spectrum with written facts they wanted to prove she had disability before age 22 in order to receive SSDI under my husband's employment of 25 years plus in the board of education homework with special education students. I don't know what more evidence they need to prove her case her conditions came out at age 22 years and 2 months her psychosis She was suicidal.She was hospitalized for 2 years never worked and was placed in special education classes all her life.What else do they need to prove she's disabled and cannot work This team is very disappointing I will not give up on this fight for my daughter Thank goodness I have the tools to remain standing otherwise I would go under like many of their clients whom I read their reviews What a waste of time and money Mr Mahoney does not represent well he expects you to do all the work he's rich why should he care!

Avard Law Firm, led by Carol Avard, is the epitome of legal incompetence. I hired them on February 13, 2024, to handle my SSDI case, and within four months, they did nothing but ruin it. Despite my already long wait since July 2020, they filed the wrong appeal, ignoring the fact that I had already gone through reconsideration myself. When I called Social Security, they confirmed the error. When I confronted Avard Law Firm, they blatantly lied, claiming they filed the correct paperwork, just “not the one Social Security was looking for.” It was the wrong paperwork, plain and simple. Every step of the way, I had to call them to ensure things were done. Even after notifying them of their mistake, they only corrected it after more delays. The result? My request for a hearing was filed late, and now I must appeal to the Appeals Council just to get a hearing—a situation that should never have happened.

I am a current client I have been getting the run- around trying to get in contact with Carol Avard. I first asked for Doug M. but he is never returning my calls and I was trying to find out what they would do after my hearing because they did not win/beat it so I asked to be escalated I still have not received a call Carol Avard pls call at your earliest convenience I have no idea why i'm not getting 100% service as a human being not only that I am a military vet, the service unprofessional!

Impossible to talk to. They never met me until hearing. My "Advocate" seems as depressed as I am. They let the Judge tear me apart in my first hearing. Now I have to wait about 18 months for my appeal which I was told has a %12 chance of winning. I have no money and they won't help pay for an X-Ray or MRI which could help my case. I would switch to someone else, but they will charge me if I bail on them. So I'm stuck. The stress of dealing with them has made me worse. I wish I would just die.
