She responded to my initial e-mail promptly and set an appointment for me to meet with herself as well as another member of her team. It was a very pleasant experience.
I retained her merely because lawyers are hard to find right now. The initial consultation was good. However after I paid the $500 consult fee and provided her with a $2,000 retainer she became lazy and disenchanted. Wrote a letter to the opposing party without a deadline to respond knowing that they had a previous history of unresponsiveness. She drafted up a less than satisfactory letter to send. It took her a month to complete and when I critiqued it for its incompetencies she pouted like a petulant child and walked. She’s got a pretentious, self-Centered attitude, a defeatist attitude and a quitter. Horrible experience with her. Oh and she billed me $900 for said letter and to read a few emails without even having the decency to respond. Law School in Manitoba is bottom of the barrel by the looks of things.
