Hired Attorney Peter K. Hrastovec

To start I am a professional. I am writing this to help. This is my opinion.I can’t comment on the other lawyers at Shibley Righton.I can only outline my experience with Peter Hrastovec. Very little in my opinion was done and I received a bill for thousands of dollars. He doesn’t delegate things that could be done by a secretary just so he can pad the bill. An example is an email he sent to see if the retainer cheque was sent, and then he billed almost $200. So I was billed almost $200 to see I mailed in his cheque. This is one example. I was never given a retainer agreement to sign, but he made sure to get his retainer cheque(and bill me almost 200 to see if I had sent the check).If you do go to him, which I don’t advise, get EVERYTHING in writing. He will talk to you about your personal life and then bill you for it. I did complain to the Ontario Superior Court to have the fees assessed. The fees were lowered by the court. Do yourself a favour, go anywhere else.
