Jim lutz does not get reduced sentences for first time offenders regarding petty theft. He takes advantage of people with no knowledge of the court or criminal system and honestly has no compassion for young clients. He pretends like he is doing you a favour by scaring you with lengthy jail term recommendations from the crown. Then he takes your money and gets you a deal that you could have got for free with legal aid services. I paid for jims counsel as a young offender and the price to retain him warranted myself 6 thousand dollars. I had a co accused who was equally as guilty as i was. The co accused retained a lawyer through legal aid and subsequently received a lesser charge and a lesser jail term. Save your money. This guy acts like he is some sort of big shot that has all these personal connections with the assigned judges and prosecuters and has eyes that resemble a snakes. Save your hard earned money and go to legal aid. You are receiving the exact same service.
