I reached out to Holger Siegwart regarding acquiring dual citizenship (the dreaded "Beibehaltungsgenehmigung"). After he explained the process and potential complications thoroughly, I decided to retain him. Mr. Siegwart is handled everything to my utmost satisfaction, was personable, diligent in his work and communicative during the entire process. His fees were more than reasonable and I would not hesitate to turn to him in other matters.

I searched all the options to leave and enter the USA with my Green Card for as long as I have to and found the option of Dual Citizenship. Holger Siegwart gave me all the advice and help I needed to apply and did all the paperwork necessary, and after a short period of time I had what I needed from the German Government.
I never had this experience before,
Friendliness and patience was connected with knowledge! Where do you find this today?

I contacted Siegwart German American law to handle my German Beibehaltungsgenehmigung. All I can say is that I wish I would have contacted this law firm years ago. It was a quick efficient process. Mr Siegwart is an expert and everyone in the law firm is very friendly and approachable. After years of waiting and contacting various law firms I am thrilled to have chosen Siegwart German American law as I had my Beibehaltungsgenehmigung in less than four weeks.

I talked to Mr. Seigwart about the guidelines and tax ramifications of receiving gift/inheritance money from Germany. He was pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. I would not hesitate to contact him again.

I contacted Siegwart German American Law via their website and was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Mr. Siegwart himself shortly thereafter. During our initial conversation, he gave me a thorough review of my situation and proposed a strategy with the greatest chance for the desired outcome. I found his fee arrangements to be fair and reasonable and decided to engage him. With his help and that of his legal assistant, Ms. Budimir, the matter was brought to a successful conclusion.

I contacted Mr Siegwart recently because my mother had received inheritance paperwork from Germany and we did not really understand the German inheritance system or what was in the paperwork.
