Will bill you non stop with zero communication. The only thing that they actually helped with was filling with the county to get the paperwork to handle my parents estate. I did ALL the leg work including going to court. I’m honestly not sure what they actually did besides send me bills for responding to email. Every single time I contact them I have a different lawyer in charge of my case with no notification that the lawyers left the practice. I asked them for help switching over the name of a deed and they have yet to do so or to tell me what to do to get it done. They only were interested in selling it for me which I had no interest in doing so. They are greedy and useless as far as I am concerned. I would never recommend them.
I am being sued by the US govt for a claim previously brought on my behalf by Mr. Gerber. According to the govt, I was not entitled to the benefits that Mr. Gerber pursued on my behalf. He has been unresponsive to my attempts to contact him.
Steve Cohen makes a name for himself in the press, but when you contact him and he states he will review a case, he either doesn't, or just blows you off if he isn't interested. Very unprofessional. This same behavior existed at Hogan Willig
I’m a survivor of multiple brain injuries and this lawyer is a snake. Over a year in time filing SSI and he did not direct me in any way to do what was needed. He’s very prissy and deceitful.
This man is a burned out, disgruntled and untrustworthy attorney. He should have retired years ago when he still had a good reputation. He constantly ignored his clients requests. Even so far as refusing to provide for me my case file when requested. he has spent 14 months taking my money and has produced nothing. I hired him as my legal counsel and advocate, of which he provided no counsel and was not my advocate. based on his refusal to produce my case file I requested, I have filed a grievance with the New York State bar. He clearly did not act in my interest. especially when i requested my case file to seek new counsel who would advocate for me. After my experience with Steven I would not hire him to wash my cars.
I paid Kevin Mahoney nearly $1000 to get records from the corrupt Erie County Sheriffs to prove my innocents. He got no records and gave me no advice on how to handle the situation then completely stopped all further communications with me. Absolute ripoff.
