Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Shari has been my personal Attorney for over 20 years and handled My cases with a professional, caring, trustworthy approach. You will not find a more passionate knowledgeable Attorney in her field. She fights for her clients like no other. I was served Divorce papers and as most people I did not know where to start so I asked my best friend who had been dragged through hell during a recent divorce for advice and he sent me to see Shari. When I went to talk to her the first time she asked how I found her, I told her I was referred to her by Mark, she was shocked because she represented his wife not him. I would highly recommend her firm and associates Lynn and staff to anyone. They are the Best!!
SJ is a professional attorney who knows the court room inside and out. She is well known and respected in her field. She is well worth the money you will spend.
Excellent lawyer. Easy to talk to and friendly. Always attentive, punctual and genuine. Would highly recommend.
Shari Jo Reich, as well as Laura Emerson, are phenomenal attorneys. They are there for you every step of the divorce process. They reassured me throughout the divorce proceedings and always communicated quickly and efficiently with me. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a divorce or other family matter.
Shari Jo was extremely helpful in working with me through my divorce. She was up front regarding the cost of things and tried hard to avoid addition costs throughout the process. She guided me through what needed to be done to proceed .
My Partner and I hired her 2 years ago. We needed help with getting my partners ex to follow the parental agreement. We hired Mary Jo and her associate was the one who went to court for us. We borrowed the money and paid the retainer and got a favorable outcome. There was money left over from the retainer and we asked to be refunded the amount that was not used. Both me and my partner were In school living off student loans, and at the time and every cent counted. We were refunded a different amount then we were told. No big deal... we just inquired about the difference. Cut to 2 years later same situation is happening with the parental agreement. We called her today to hire her again she told us she would not work with us because there was a issue with payment..... there was no issue, we just asked for the amount not used back. She was paid. No issue. Ok.... that’s fine, we asked for a referal and she gave us the NY bar association. Awful.
Shari Jo , was forgetful. I paid $7500 for so little it was devastating. I fired her and hired a new attorney who took care of a basically, a no contest divorce. Shari Jo took so long to do nothing. After 6 court dates for no reason, I hired a new attorney, who was excellent. My advice is do not hire Shari Jo. She should be ashamed !
I felt as if she confused me with another client. She often blamed things on me. She did not remember much of what I told her.
I hired Shari Jo to handle my divorce because of a friend referral. Shari jo does not return calls or emails in a timely manner, if at all. Any time I had questions for Shari I got replies back that were demeaning and condescending, as if I were to know the answers myself. At one point paperwork was sent to me via email with no explanation but “please have notarized,” and when I asked her what they were I was told to “talk with your husband” whom I was divorcing. The few occasions I visited her office for varying reasons she was always “on a call” or “in a meeting” and anytime I called she was “out of the office.” In my opinion, for the fees Shari Jo charges, you can find a legal representative with a higher level of client interaction, communication skills, friendliness, and availability without compromising a favorable outcome to your issue.
Shari Jo represented me for my divorce. I would not recommend her to anyone. She made promises to me that she did not keep. She never called me back but billed me for calls she never made. She seemed very distracted when we did go to court, and when she did talk to me. I had to hire another attorney to finish what Shari started, and it turns out Shari wasn't looking out for my interests, but my ex made out well.
