Hired Attorney Mr. Henry Holbrook III

I hired this lawyer during a difficult divorce and custody matter and had serious concerns regarding billing transparency and case management. My signed retainer agreement stated attorney H. Leon Holbrook III’s rate would be $465/hour, yet I later discovered billing calculations reflecting higher rates without any amended agreement, notice, or consent. I was billed substantial attorney fees for tasks that appeared administrative in nature, including emails, organizing documents, scheduling, and preparation for hearings that never occurred. I also provided extensive evidence over several months, yet later discovered important materials missing from the shared case files, including paper evidence that had not been scanned or digitized despite significant charges for evidence review and organization. Despite very limited court activity, fees escalated into many thousands of dollars, and I was even billed for communications disputing the invoices themselves. Just be aware.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
