You stepped up to the plate and took care of all legal things when Cal passed away without my asking and not accepting anything monetary. This is my way of giving you a public "Thank You" for all you do and have done. I didn't rate for Value of Money on this review because he would not take my money.
Quit the case after a deposition session announcing that he thought we were lying to him. Car dealer repossessed our vehicle illegally because I drove the vehicle out of state. Sales manager quit from dealership and said he would testify on our behalf then on day of depositions he told half-truths , trying to stay neutral. Dealer claimed we canceled insurance on vehicle , we had proof that we didn't. Sowerby never bothered to ask to see our proof. Dealer still paid us $1,600 after Sowerby quit.
Lost two cases dealing with Home owners association. Improperly filed appeals for both cases. Therefore lost both appeals, with no right to refile or file with GA Supreme Court. Sowerby promised to return all fees I had paid him...then refuses. He failed/refused to attempt to negotiate settlement, unilaterally declares the atty/client relationship to be adversarial, then quits as my attorney...leaving me without atty. Cost me approx $215,000.
