Mike Usher is the founder and principal of Usher Law Group P.C. Mr Usher is a skilled and experienced attorney. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College (CUNY) where he a bachelors in Political Science. After graduating college, Mr. Usher worked as the head of purchasing for an international furniture import and distribution company. Mr. Usher went on to go to Saint Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. During Law School Mr. Usher was Senator for the Student Bar Association, as well as a competing member for the National Champion St. Thomas University Mock Trial Team where he earned high honors. While at Law School Mr. Usher was also a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Amy Steele Donner in Dade County, Florida. After taking the New York and New Jersey Bar Examinations Mr. Usher began working for Smotritsky Law Group in Brooklyn, New York where Mr. Usher focused primarily on Immigration Law, Criminal Law, Employment Law and Consumer Protection Law. While at Smotritsky Law Group Mr. Usher built the Criminal Division of the firm. During Mr. Usher's time at Smotritsky Law Group he also took and passed the Florida Bar Examination. After 3 years at Smotritsky Law Group Mr. Usher decided to start his own firm. Since its inception 10 years ago, Usher Law Group has been handling cases ranging from Deportation Defense, to Criminal Defense, Child Custody, Divorce matters, Consumer Protection, business compliance, employment law, landlord tenant law, real estate matters and all varieties of Civil Litigation especially Commercial Litigation specializing in Defending Companies from predatory lenders and Merchant Cash Advance Defense.
