Save money, got to legalzoom unless you really want to give these people your money for filling. Also research other law firms, for the 9K that I gave them I found two other firms that would have done it for less than 5k.

The firm promised to help me settle my divorce case quickly and cheaply. Instead they pushed for trial and ran up huge bills. They allowed the opposing counsel to run the process and walk all over me. A very bad experience.

I found the attorney and staff to be rude and uncaring. We did win our case as the other side was shown to be incompetent but the experience with this firm was not one I would recommend to anyone.

This law firm dropped the ball so many times. Eric limegrover not only yelled at me on the phone but he billed me so much for conversations that we had multiple times. This firm and Eric did nothing to help my case but only made things worse by pressuring me to extend my case. Eric lied so many times and then gaslighted me in emails.. Eric was such a headache in the divorce rice process plesae find a better laywer. he told me so many things that did not happen. like " you will surly get $2000 a month and rights to the property... but i was kicked out of my home and my children were taken by opposing council all becuase Eric was "busy with other cases". then he said he needed to charge me more so that he can do more research.. so pathetic

NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL, LIED TO US, CHARGES FOR ALL THEIR MISTAKES. This space would not allow me to paste my examples. Apparently there were too many. She lied to us in an email about her mistake. She cost us so much money for all the lies and mistakes she made. We got charged to tell her the mistakes, we got charged for her time to fix them, we got charged for her to email is to tell us they were fixed. What a joke.

DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! I cannot express strongly enough to stay away from the Harris Family Law Firm. I had a relatively simple divorce - no debt, decent assets, very few contested facts. I was told it would cost between $10,000 and $15,000 if we contested it all the way to the order hearing, less if we could settle (which seemed very likely). I was assigned what I learned was a brand new associate who was apparently being supervised by another associate - so I was getting double billed without even having a supervising partner assigned. After getting billed over $13,000 for nothing but document collection and "review" the newer associate submitted a confidential settlement statement to the mediator with incorrect information, didn't know basic facts about my case (like that our house was paid off), and argued AGAINST me in front of the mediator on issues that my ex actually conceded on. I ended up having to get another law firm because they were so bad.

I hired the Harris Law Firm in 2021 for my divorce as it was my only option; my ex had called numerous other firms. I started with a lawyer who apparently didn’t have any correspondence with the other party. He also didn’t have much correspondence with me as he was abruptly unable to represent me with little to no notice (separated from the firm) and I was given another lawyer. This lawyer lasted about two weeks at which point I was told that they wouldn’t be able to represent me either. I then received another lawyer team who I was assured was very capable and experienced. I interacted primarily with the junior lawyer hearing little to nothing from the senior. I’m not sure how difficult a divorce with one house and some children can be but long story short I started my divorce in August of 2021 and have now in 2023 dropped my divorce as it was not concluded and my counsel continued pushing the final hearing date back. I am now paying interest on an $18,000~ dropped separation.

Do not use this law firm. They are unprofessional, unethical and are derelict in their responsibilities to their clients. I engaged Harris Law Firm to help me with my divorce because I have complicated financials. I was assigned Barbara Johnson-Stern as my attorney. After providing them with every document they requested, they gave me a Sworn Financial Statement (SFS) that in many sections contained TBD (To Be Determined). This was one day prior to when the SFS was due. When I questioned the paralegals working on it, they did not have correct or sufficient answers, so arranged for me to meet with Ms. Johnson-Stern. It is now one day past the due date for me to provide the SFS. When I met with Ms. Johnson-Stern and expressed concern regarding the answers she was providing me, she told me she was done with me as a client. This is dereliction of her duty as an attorney and is unethical and unprofessional. Divorce is stressful enough, you do not need an attorney who will not work with yo

My attorney at the Harris Law Firm was very expensive $360/hour which would have been ok if she had been proactive and available to provide the kind of timely service and attention to my case that I would expect from an attorney that I am paying $360/hour. However, even after repeated complaints about things not being handled in a timely manner my case was still pushed off to the side so my attorney could handle other things and my court date was bumped because we were not ready. Horrible!!
