If you want an attorney that has over 30 years of experience, is aggressive, wise, and absolutely brilliant, and I stress brilliant, you want Ray Schild. He is tough, has a great staff, and when he walks into a room, you know this man is the real deal.

I hired Charles Crafts twice, and both times the results speak for themselves. He was known as one of the "most feared" attorneys by the Boise Prosecutor’s Office (quote from Boise prosecutor's office 2017) and that reputation is well earned. The first time I hired him was for a misdemeanor; the second was for a felony. Both cases were dismissed by the judge. Most attorneys in Idaho take a small retainer and then use fear to push you into a plea deal. Charles does the opposite. He prepares, he challenges, and he uses every rule and legal method available to protect his clients. His tactics are that of a great chess player. Often times uses the rules that the prosecutors hate. He does not rush cases or sacrifice futures for convenience. Because my cases were dismissed, I now qualify under new law to have the charges expunged. That outcome is life-changing. If your freedom and your record matter, Charles Crafts is the attorney you want standing between you and the state.

Ray Schild is very well educated, he helped me get full custody back after many years of fighting for them. He tells it how it is and he definitely will fight for you. Would definitely use again on any Sunday…it is a lengthy process, but well worth the wait. If you have your ducks in a row, he’ll present a case that can’t be argued. The Idaho pardon and parole process is somewhat grueling, but a lawyer of this caliber makes it a breeze..

Ray took our case and did not advise that our most important motion we discussed would not see a courtroom to be heard in time to matter or advise that we had very little chance of obtaining the changes we wished to see as a secondary action. His assistant was very responsive and did a great job guiding us in the process of filing forms but we were not given much direction on the wording of our claims. We were not informed of the date of our trial until we were told by the mediator. Unfortunately due to Covid we were unable to make payments for some time and Ray withdrew as counsel without warning less that 4 weeks to pre-trial. Our retainer and subsequent payments in the beginning were eaten up with useless filings and corrections to paperwork. What a disaster!

I received a notice from the sheriff's office that my wages were going to be garnished from a local collection agency. I was never served or had been made aware that this was happening. The collection agency wouldn't release the information about where the original debt was from, and they were also violating state and national statute of limitations. Nothing was showing on my credit report, and all of my debts back then were paid off in full. I believe I was dealing with a "zombie debt" collector, and was in great need of legal counsel, as this was a stressful situation for me and my family. The Boise Law Firm was highly recommended, and I felt confident when I read the reviews. Unfortunately, The Boise Law Firm turned out to be a complete disappointment. I inquired for legal counsel but I was never contacted by anyone, whether to let me know that they could help or not. Other law firms were professional enough to at least let me know if they could be of service or not within 24 hours
