I was referred to this firm and found my phone call with Sheli to be very positive. Unfortunately, I wasn't told how much that phone call would cost! Based on the call, I decided to move ahead with my estate planning needs, as she seemed very well-versed on all the legal steps involved. However, I soon found a charge for $300 on my credit card, before I'd even met with her. If I had known that our phone call was (part of) the consultation, I'd have left a better review. It should have been clearly stated at the beginning of the call.

Sheli is an attorney who pushes her own agenda in a case. Though my ex and I were able to come to an agreement we were comfortable with, Sheli refused to allow us to settle and continued to create tension, threaten, and file documents which extended the case another six months so she could line her pocket with thousands more in legal fees. She seems to enjoy creating conflict in families and does not seek solutions to help people find common ground.
I felt she was somewhat of a bully and I felt very intimidated by her. I don't feel like she does her job and I more often than not wish I knew how to fire her and seek new counsel. I have not been satisfied with her services from about the first or second week in and I feel very cornered and stuck.
