My situation did not follow the guidelines of winning or not winning. Mark took our case to help us protect our grandchildren by filing a visitation request when custody was in dispute between their divorced parents. At the time, they were being harmed in the home of their father and stepmother. As grandparents, no else thought we should even be asking to see the children since the standard for visitation for grandparents is so high. Mark took the time to look at why we felt we met that standard, and why we felt visitation was essential to keep them safe. Mark not only got us visitation, but was able to show why neither parent could lovingly, safely or financially take care of them. In the end, the judge gave custody to neither parent and determined the best placement for the children was with us. The judgement gave us sole physical and sole legal custody.
