He's a horrible attorney. He didn't even try on the Hinton case. Never brought in character witnesses, never brought in the man who said, "this gun hasn't been fired in 20 years," never explained that there was no way Hinton could have done it based on his being at work, never explained the fact that the killer kept killing after Hinton was in jail. Never, never, never choose this guy for your attorney.
My heart breaks for Mr. Hinton. We’re you in on it? Have you apologized? This guy spent 30 years and Alabama almost killed him and you didn’t care. His life was in your hands and you “didn’t go to law school to do pro bono”. How do you sleep at night?
How can you live with yourself with the injustice on Hinton. Did you really say "y'all blacks always say you didn’t do something" about your client and you hired a half blind ballistics expert who could not use a microscope? "After Hinton's arrest, his public defense attorney did not provide adequate counsel. He said to Hinton, "All of y'all blacks always say you didn’t do something." and "Y'all blacks always sticking up for each other." The credibility of his ballistics expert - the only one the attorney thought he could hire with the funds available - was discredited by the prosecutor due to the expert's physical limitations and lack of experience."
I can’t believe you can even call yourself an attorney. McGregor should have called you evil. The two of you will get justice served one day! McGregor has his because he is probably sitting in Hell! This so called attorney hasn’t even apologized for sending a man to death row for 30 years!!! All of you involved will one day be repaid!! God never fails and his word stands true! You are an embarrassment to the state of Alabama!!!!!
Read THE SUN DOES SHINE before signing on with Mr Perhacs - hard to comprehend his peer reviews are based on anything legitimate. Hard to comprehend why he hasn’t been disbarred.
Why didn’t you seek justice for Anthony Ray Hinton? Greed? $1000 breakfast got you down? Racist? Bigot? Sad sad sad.
How can you sleep at night knowing you didn't help Anthony Ray Hinton? His mama died before he was freed for a crime you know he didn't do! "$1,000 for breakfast" are you kidding? You owe that poor man. So sad. Hope you read his book.
