dear Mr. Larky. In my case #2007-730012-DO, You served as our mediator and several things happened since 2007. My X now has dementia and a new husband, who took my son to court to get her power of attorney. In the mean time I never received from her, or you, anything signed by her and the oath that she took. Seemed very much on the husbands side and was very passive toward me. He didn’t listen to the fact that my ex got both houses and had possession of all our belongings for over a year. My ex clearly lied about why he wanted items on my list When my ex said it was a gift Mr Larky gave it to him yet when I said it was a gift he responded that they are all martial assets. He awarded things as if he just needed to divide them up instead of who should really have them
Did not perform due diligence in reviewing information and was biased against women. Was attacked personally for stating that my children were the most important thing in my life. Would not recommend using for arbitration.
Mr. Larky was to divide items in my daughter/son-in-law’s home fairly and equitably. He also told both my daughter and me that he would not give her ex items he all ready had in his new residence. Two lies- the ex got at least 75% of items from the home that had been purchased jointly throughout the marriage or were wedding gifts. He was even given my daughters mattress! The ex had previously taken furniture, kitchen and other household items none of which seemed to be accounted for during the division. I would NEVER hire or recommend Sheldon Larky as an arbitrator.
