Lerch, Early & Brewer, Chartered is a law firm established in 1950 with an office in Bethesda, MD. At this office location, there are 64 lawyers practicing general business law, taxation, commercial loans and 66 other areas of law.
Bill was easy to work with and flexible to accommodate us, and it seemed like he had a lot of experience in estates and estate litigation. However, in reviewing our matter with other attorneys, they found Bill's methods and strategy to be sub-par and we did not come out ahead. Fair warning, use someone else!
Prioritized billable hours/making partner over child's/my well-being. Ignorant of basic concepts of family law resulting in poor showing in front of judge. Made bad situation worse instead of encouraging peaceful resolution. Condescending. Poor supervision of staff. Could not in good conscience recommend.
I had a very negative experience with Lerch, Early and Brewer. They encouraged me that my case had merit -- until they got my large retainer. After that, they completely back pedaled and provided extremely poor representation. My attorney, Christopher Roberts, showed up to hearings completely unprepared and unaware of the details of my case. When I sought some help from the Partner, Deborah Reiser, she basically told it was best for me to find new counsel.
