Kelly has been my lawyer for a number of years and she has been beyond awesome. She is always professional, knows the law better than anyone I have seen and is available whenever I need her. I would definitely recommend her for ANY type of legal service!

I would Never tell a friends or family to use Hicks & Spector. I am a previous client who felt ignored, unappreciated, and honestly lied to. I requested an in person appointment which Elizabeth said she only had a phone conference available. When I would agree to a phone conference they cancelled it the day of. Kelly Will not do in person conferences mine was promptly cancelled the day they agreed, booked a week out by her paralegal Elizabeth because she needed to see "another client". Bad news.

Hired Attorney Ms. Amy Spector JD MBA

Review of Amy Spector, Lawyer: A Disastrous Experience I cannot express enough how utterly disappointing and infuriating my experience with Amy Spector has been. She has proven to be completely unprofessional, negligent, and a complete embarrassment to the legal profession. Here’s a summary of why I would never recommend her to anyone: Missed Meetings: Amy failed to show up to several scheduled meetings. Not once, not twice, but multiple times. I was left in the dark, having to reschedule on short notice with no apology or explanation. Dodged Calls and Avoided Emails: Communication was virtually impossible. She regularly ignored phone calls and emails, leaving me with unanswered questions and no guidance. When I finally did get a response, it was either vague or unhelpful. Conflict of Interest: Amy seemed more friendly with opposing counsel than with her own client—me. It was clear she had a personal rapport with the other side, which made me feel like my interests were secondary.

Hired Law Firm

Poor communication, inadequate office personnel with low customer service skills that don’t relay information to opposing counsel by deadline. Had to point out and spell out mistakes made by lawyer and staff and get billed for it. Promises to fight for client but doesn’t deliver.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
