Eleni vanRoden Bickley is a terrible attorney who prioritizes herself over her clients. Eleni works at vanRoden Family Law in Bel Air, MD. The firm was originally founded by her father, Christopher vanRoden. After his retirement, Eleni and Emily Sofia became partners. However, Emily Sofia has since left to join Wright, Constable & Skeen in Towson, and the firm's other attorney, Alexandra “Ally” Comegys, has also departed. According to the current firm website, only Eleni and her father remain. The rapid departure of both her partner and the only other associate raises serious red flags about the firm's stability and internal dynamics. In my experience, Eleni's self-focused approach made communication difficult and left clients feeling unsupported. I strongly recommend avoiding Eleni vanRoden Bickley and vanRoden Family Law altogether. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for competent, client-centered family law representation.
It appears that Eleni’s firm has seen significant turnover in recent months, with several attorneys— including Emily Sophia and Alexandra “Ally” Comegys —departing. The firm now seems to consist only of Eleni and her father, who is reportedly retired. This pattern raises questions about the firm’s management and overall stability.
