How do I convert Chapter 13 to chapter 7?

Answered by attorney Myron Wayne Tucker (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Orrock, Popka, Tucker Dolen
The best method is to amend ALL your schedules, statement of financial affairs, creditor matrix, statement of intent, and means test. ?The easy part is converting. There is a form for that also. Sometimes it is more expensive to be your own attorney.

Will I be able to get paid back if I lend my friend money for his business and he files bankruptcy?

Diane L Drain
Answered by attorney Diane L Drain (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Law Office of D. L. Drain, P.A.
You are probably going to be "out of luck". You can hedge your loan by securing it against collateral that has equity - such as house, land or vehicles. Otherwise, you are an unsecured creditor and will be treated like everyone else. I hope this helps.

Will bankruptcy affect his case or should we postpone our wedding?

I do not understand what you want to know. Maybe that is why you cannot get a clear answer ? no one understands your question. The 341 meeting is unlike to go on for more than 30 minutes, so he should be able to have enough time to prepare himself for the wedding.
