Your credit rating will not affect your husband's credit rating, but if you co-sign on a loan with your husband, the bank may see your credit report, as well as your husband's.

Can filing bankruptcy help get my license back?

Answered by attorney Marjorie A. Guymon

A license is a privilege. If you lost it because you can't pay a fine then no, filing bankruptcy will not help you get your license back.

What should I do if I got a request for a special notice from a chapter 7 bankruptcy?

First, you should hire an atty. Second, the notice means that you have to serve them with all future pleadings in the matter. You and your atty should be filing a motion for sanctions now to stop the collection.
