How do I file medical bankruptcy?

Answered by attorney Marjorie A. Guymon
Bankruptcy lawyer at Goldsmith & Guymon, P.C.
Please contact an attorney to assist you in filing a bankruptcy. He or she can walk you through the process. The term "medical bankruptcy" is really a misnomer. When you file bankruptcy you must list all your debts, not just medical debts.

It depends on the state where you live and the laws of that state. Talk to a competent foreclosure attorney licensed in the state where the property is located.

You first need to contact the provider of the certificate and get a copy. Then you need to file a motion to reopen your case so you can file the B23. It will cost you $260.00 to reopen.
