He is an attorney that needs better manners.
Wanted to impress upon anyone wanting to work with Ross Serena. Started a case with him at another firm that he continued to charge me money for, totalling 22k after it was handed off to another lawyer as he indicated he was leaving. At this point, I discovered that he had done very little for my case and continued to charge me, and it left me and my new lawyer scrambling to get everything put together in very little time.
Bad communicator, takes unnecessarily long time to share updates after she receives it. Jackson Lewis already has a wacky reputation and she is there to further ruin it.
The communication via email was extremely slow and frustrating. The promised timeline and tasks have never been achieved on the attorney's side. Only ask for information rather than providing outcomes that worth the time spent. Do not recommend at all.
In my case- They explained clearly about how the case can go and the difference between one and another. However- Their responses via email were slow and passive. They didn't follow the timeline they promise. They didn't assess your material very carefully. They couldn't provide the necessary work in time. Do not recommend.
They are one of the worst firms out there for immigration. Immigration process is extremely painful to begin with and this firm makes it even more difficult. They shouldn't be doing immigration law as they don't seem to like immigrants nor do they seem to have any sense of urgency or empathy towards their clients. It took them about twice the time it should take to get the process done. They are extremely slow and lazy. I am going to try to convince my company to hire a different firm for our immigration needs.
I am a witness to innocent Ljupco Steriev who was arrested because of Patrick J. Rocks from Jackson-Lewis. I consulted with Rocks during Ljupco's trials and tribulations. I wanted vindication & justice for Ljupco. Ljupco was sent to jail on June 17 2015 because of faulty evidence based on email from some "Vesna." IP headers were similar to those of Ljupco but how can they be similar or even same when Ljupco never emailed CPS in tjhe first place? They used Chicago Public School's top copper Thomas Cotter to get Ljupco. All of them invented fake evidence. They just wanted him in jail thinking he will forget about his incorrect Taft/CPS transcript, so they dont look bad but how wrong they are as Ljupco keeps on fighting for it now much harder than ever before. In the end the truth will triumph and Ljupco (and his small family) will be forever vindicated. Ljupco did not even get original HS diploma upon graduating with honors. He is in the top 5% of Who's Who among American HS graduates!
This law firm is a total joke! They do not advocate ethically for what is right within the parameters of the law. They serve exclusively management's best interests only - even if those managers (their clients who they're hired to protect from litigation at all costs) are behaving unethically or even illegally. Of all the possible law firms you could hire for handling labor and workplace investigations in a truly "ethical" manner, this one should certainly be dead last! Avoid at all costs.
