Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. Was given many options. Think the law firm could be more compassionate and understanding, since it is a family divorce law firm. Going through divorce is horrendous and stressful, especially with unknowns. This law firm is very knowledgeable and did offer many scenarios.
We had a prolonged experience with Evans Family Law Firm. We first spoke in July 2023 to begin an open and shut case termination and adoption case that was uncontested. It should have taken a few months and took 8 to finish, along with over twice the amount of money originally suggested it would cost.
Hostile when I disagreed with his advice. Very expensive and accounting was inaccurate.
Working with this law office was NOT a great experience. My lawyer left the practice mid way through my divorce. My new appointed attorney was not what I was expecting. I ended negotiating my own divorce terms with my now ex-husband and just needed them to legally submit. Would not recommend them for a divorce.
We were assigned 3 different attorneys and numerous paralegals. We continuously have to spend time closely examine the bill for accuracy. The 1st one did nothing for the case but billed us anyway. The second one was not at all responsive and her advices cost us money without yielding any results. The third attorney finally moved our case forward to conclusion. It should be noted that when we complained, billing errors were corrected.
