Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Jimmy was very professional. I had a dispute with my former spouse and in lieu of court, we used Mr. Evans on an 8 hour marathon session to get an agreement worked out that saved alot of time and money vs. court. I recommend if you are about to fight it out, go to mediation first with Jimmy and try to settle it. The 8 almost 9 hours was $1000 each for me and my former spouse but when you total up a lawyer on both sides, court fees, etc I know I saved thousands of dollars plus the headache
Mr. Evans is tremendously experienced in Family Law. He gave us very honest opinions right from day one. Mr. Evans successfully got our case settled and negotiated an excellent arrangement from all aspects which otherwise would have been a very complicated case.
The entire staff of Evans Family Law were helpful and supportive during a drawn-out, painful custody case that was ultimately successfully resolved. Tenacious and intrepid, Mr. Evans demonstrated repeatedly that he had a deep understanding of the ins-and-outs of family law, the Travis County legal establishment, and the quirks of human nature. I would not hesitate to recommend Evans Family Law to anyone who needed family law representation.
Mr. Evans is an exceptional attorney and I feel very confident recommending him to anyone in need.{para}My divorce was complicated however Jimmy took time to explain my circumstances and its possible scenarios. Once he began working on my case I knew I was in good hands, he was communicative, professional and efficient. He worked hard on my case and made sure I was awarded a fair settlement.
I hired Jimmy Evans for my divorce and custody case. I needed some immediate help, even though Mr. Evans was very busy at the time he was able to make some time available to see me. He sat down with me and went through my case step by step but more importantly he helps me understand the law. He then explained the whole process to me; he wanted to make sure that I understood everything that was going to happen in my case. He made decisive strategy decisions with me, listened to my concerns/desi
Successful outcome!! a complicated divorce with difficult custody challenges, and safety/protective issues. Jimmy was very responsive, available, and helpful during every aspect of this stressful time. f you want a crazy aggressive lawyer who will help you get into a lot heated battles, then Jimmy isn't for you. But if you want to obtain justice with integrity, maintain a sense of sanity, dignity with as little emotional pain as possible for you and your children, then hire Jimmy.
I needed someone to be the voice of reason to my spouse and her counsel.
Jimmy listened to what I wanted and what I was willing to concede. He was then able to structure our assets and liabilities for a settlement offer that worked.
Jimmy’s skill really shines during mediation. He always has a plan B. Jimmy see’s the big picture and knows how to get there with tact.
Jimmy’s associates were responsive to my calls and emails and kept each other in the loop as they handled aspects of my case.
Please take the time to read this review...it may just change your life.{para}A year ago I was in Bastrop for my Temporary Divorce hearing. My case was the last one on the docket that day which meant I had to sit and listen to many, many cases before mine. One case after another was enough to put anyone to sleep. Truthfully I don't know how the judges sit there and listen to that day in and day out.
After almost drifting off a time or two an attorney captured my attention. I was intrigued and amazed by how hard he fought for his client. Unlike the other 'good ole boys' that took a more passive stance to representation, this attorney hammered the opposing side with well thought out questions. Mind you this was not done in a disrespectful or ungentlemanly way, but more like a Tom Cruise in 'A Few Good Men' sort of a way (minus the 'You can't handle the truth' line). It was no surprise when the judge read the verdict - he won by a landslide. I made it a point to remember the guys name - Jimmy Evans. {para}Never the less I sat snug in my chair, next to my current attorney. I was sure he was just as good. After all, I had just paid him a ton of money. He BETTER be that good !!! Well...that was the day I realized that having a fancy office overlooking downtown Austin doesn't mean you're a great lawyer, it just means you spend a lot in rent. My lawyer STUNK! He didn't fight at all for me. He was pathetic. Every issue I wanted him to touch on, he didn't. It was a train wreck and I lost miserably. {para}So...fast forward a year. Guess who I hired to represent me for the Final Divorce hearing? You guessed it - Jimmy Evans. And you know what else? We won by a land slide :D{para}Thank you Jimmy! I can't even begin to put into words how much I appreciate all the hard work and attention to detail you put into my case.
I highly recommend Jimmy Evans as well as his staff. My case extended over 3 years due to a "hiding" ex-spouse, and I am so grateful that they hung in there with me until he was found. It was a "gotcha" moment for us all. They displayed patience and commitment, and they were right there with me when I needed them. Jimmy Evans is an attorney who really cares for his clients, and he'll work hard for you.
Mr. Evans and his team did an excellent job. The communication was second to none and the outcome of the case was as expected. Nice work!
