Attorney Matthew Robert Johnson worked for the firm which handled my case several years ago. I found him to be proficient, very responsive, conscientious and professional. He also had a human side to him, which is very important.
Another lawyer referred me to this firm and I was pleased with their advice and responsiveness.
After a very favorable experience with this law firm, I have referred others and learned that have received excellent advice and felt they received sound advice.
I was contacted back by a Case Intake Manager (Big words for someone who blows smoke up your behind) he listened to my issues and told me the big guy (Mr. Johnson himself said he wanted to take this issue on.) I was charged $250 for the big man to call me and talk to me for a consult. He would explain the whole situation after we spoke to Mr. Johnson so I would not have to waste my consult time telling me issues again. I spent 45 minutes with Mr. Johnson repeating my issue and then nothing.
Initial discussion with Mr Johnson was positive, Mr Johnson "liked" my case based on the evidence provided. I was seeking a bridge to retirement from a governmental agency which Mr Johnson claimed his firm had experience in dealing with. He indicated that that addressing bridging to retirement was preferable than negotiating a monetary settlement. Agency would not consider bridge and based on mounting attorney fees settled for LESS than attorney fees. Would not recommend firm
They just didn't do anything for the money.
You must get the blessings from George, weather they will take your case. And of course only if you can succeed in doing so, Seventy plus thousand dollars, three and a half years later and my retirement will be much less enjoyable. Lead you on, never get back on time with you. No phone conversation. And make sure your coffer has plenty in it. Now learning from different agency, should have gone in easier, much less time direction?
The lawyer failed to make an important phone call with the judge. Then, when I called to get the lawyer on the line, they got someone on the line who knew nothing about my case. Then they billed me for someone who knew nothing. The lawyer knew that I would need a specific witness and failed to mention it. The judge said he would not hear my lawyer's key defense because the witness was not present. The lawyer said we could address it on appeal after the judge ruled against me.
Please do not hire employment attorneys all they will do is take your money and you will not win your case. Use ChatGPT to help with your case. I even went to court and lost and OFO will not overturn your appeal the whole system is a joke and you will only come out broker and with stress stay away from employment lawyers.
