Established in 1984, Fryer, Shuster, Lester & Pollack, P.C. is a general practice law firm located in the Perimeter Center area in North Atlanta. While our firm maintains a general business practice, our lawyers have developed their own areas of expertise.
These areas of expertise include corporate and limited liability company law, family law and divorce, personal injury, commercial litigation, franchise law, healthcare law, employment law, real estate law and estate planning and wills.
My situation was unique; breast cancer diagnosis and husband's infidelity. Filed for divorce to freeze "cashing out funds." It was an extremely emotional and draining time and looking back--three years later, it is evident neither my best interest or my children's were represented. Viewed more a "billable" and not represented as a single Mom, forced to re-enter the workforce with a pre-existing cancer condition and limited insurance, education/financial resources to carry us forward.
At the time I was going through my divorce, I had also been diagnosed with cancer. Due to chemo and radiation treatments, I was unable to think about all the ramifications of matters I agreed to. Hindsight is 20:20. Now, that I am "living" with and struggling with the financial difficulties of being a single Mom,trying to return to the workforce to obtain a job with benefits and provide for two children's college education, I feel I was a 12-month billable!
