About Elizabeth A. “Beth” Beskin

With over 30 years of litigation experience, Beth Beskin has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a diverse array of matters. Beth practices family law, representing high-net-worth individuals as they navigate one of life’s toughest times. One area of particular interest is dividing and allocating retirement assets, business interests and other benefits of employment upon divorce. Beth represents both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation regarding pension benefits, medical benefits, disability benefits and other employer-provided benefits of employment. Beth has also advised clients and litigated matters involving tax disputes, personal injury matters, contract disputes and election law. While serving in the Georgia Department of Law, Beth worked on Medicaid Fraud and Abuse matters.

Beth is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is a member of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court as well as the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. She is admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Northern District Court of Georgia, the Middle District of Georgia and the Southern District of Georgia. Beth is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

Beth graduated from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 1989, where she was a member of Louisiana Law Review and the Order of the Coif. Beth received a Masters of Science degree in Geology from University of New Orleans in 1983 and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Geology from Tulane University in 1981.

From 2015-2019, Beth served as state representative for Georgia House District 54, which includes parts of Buckhead and Historic Brookhaven. During the 2018-2019 term, she served as the Chief Deputy Whip of the majority party.
