The lawyer who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He listened to my situation and helped me form a plan to get out of it. I even got to use a private office to do my calls and get my papers together, this made me feel like a client.

I would never recommend debtstoppers to anyone. From start to finish we had several different lawyers. None I felt where helping our case with the trustees. It was one female that seemed to have our best interest. But she changed after a week. No one tells you that you will have several different lawyers before hand. You call to try and get answers about your case and it takes for ever for someone to call back. Unless you go online and email them. You get quick response then. It took months to resolve our bankruptcy. I don't advise anyone to file bankruptcy because it's a nightmare. And dealing with the trustees are the worst. I felt like debtstoppers just took your money and not fight for you. Now that we're almost through with the bankruptcy . I can't reach my lawyer. I needed some advice concerning my HOA. I can't even talk to lawyer because he won't return your calls. This is ongoing.

Prior to my rude experience I did refer a client to Debt Stoppers. But after my experience today no I will not refer anybody. Due to my losing my job I was not able to make my payments. When Pierre Porter called me I explained that he said he can try to put down I'm having hardships and I was going to tell him I will call them once I have income coming In. He hung up on me before the words could even come out. They still took a payment out my account which was my rent payment. He was VERY RUDE
