Jacob Ehrmann is the principal attorney at Montford Family Law. Hired Attorney

I'm not here to disparage, I'm here to warn. My ex-husband’s attorney crushed Ehrmann at my expense. Ehrmann missed communications from opposing council and from the court for as much as six weeks. He actually LOST my notarized copy of the Form 4 (for interim financial aid). Then, when we went finally went to court for aid, SEVEN MONTHS later, (depleting my savings), the opposing council had the original Form 4 and quizzed me on a document I hadn’t seen for seven months in addition to quizzing me on the new Form 4 I had to submit. The judge was so annoyed with me for slow resolution when I didn't do anything wrong. Even my ex-husband said that Ehrmann had “effed” me over. My husband left me (for the oldest reason), and my settlement was pitiful. In fact, Ehrmann encouraged me to settle for $25,000 and his fees ended up being over $17,000. For these and other substantial reasons, I ended up filing a formal grievance with the North Carolina Bar.
