I had the pleasure of being represented by Mr. John Dowd, a very knowledgeable and responsive attorney. This was a unique case and I am passionate about my innocence. Prior to the hearing, Mr. Dowd fielded all of my questions and concerns quickly and effectively. Seeing Mr. Dowd in action in the courtroom was nothing short of impressive. Obviously, we won the case. His overall abilities as an attorney, specifically during cross examination, made me want to give him a standing ovation.
We reached out to this firm with a very short time limit to obtain legal representation. Had originally spoke with Kevin, who was very informative and upfront about the firm and its partners. He had referred us to John Doud, who we met with very soon after speaking with his assistant Brandy (who is wonderful as well). Atfer meeting in person we knew John was exaclty who we wnated in court with us. This has been a very emotional and trying issue that we are dealing with and we couldnt be more tahnkful and cinfident moving forward with our upcoming trial with John Doud as our Attorney!
This is by far the worst attorney that I had dealing with. Stephen Oberg was suppose to represent me, the buyer, in a business transaction. But instead, he claimed he was on the phone with the seller's representative for hours and billed me for tons of $$$$. Please skip this law firm and find yourself an honest attorney who can get the job done and without emptying the bank saving.
Billing is not accurate and follow up is very poor. The attorneys are not client centered and the pocketbook of the client dictates the service the client receives. The firm only cares about their bottom line revenue and not about the results for the client. After employing several different attorneys for various business dealings and personal needs, none of the other firms provided such low level of client service and work ethics compared to Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A.. I received nothing but the routine, mechanics of their profession.There was no forethought, no thinking at all on their part. Nothing anybody with a 5th grade reading level can do.I got vanilla: plain, simple, straight forward, robotic, paper pushing, by the book legal crap that I can get anywhere, separating this firm apart from no one.In fact as I recall they tried to bill me twice for the same thing back in 2003 because they didn’t do their job the first time.Don’t know how the sleep at night
