I retained Mr. Morrison to file motion to set aside a default and to file an appeal if necessary. I gave Mr. Morrison a $7000 retainer. After the poor job I experienced on the set aside default I did not wish to continue with Mr. Morrison. Morrison then gave me a bill saying he worked hours for the entire retainer fee including and not limited to 8 hours of email reading @ $225 /hr.
Mr. Morrison's past record speak for itself, he's dishonest and I wish I had been warned.
Robert Morrison is an horrible attorney and a terrible person. He over charged for motions, showed up late to court, only texts, belittled me in court and in text messages and emails, and does not respond in a timely manner. He was unfamiliar with the case and represented me with little to no effort or zeal, leaving me to have to continue to file motions and pay him more over the course of two years. He fired ME for not agreeing to pay a mediator $750.00 to agree on child support when I told him I could not afford it, then immediately sent a bill for $2500! He's a disgrace to the profession.
Mr. Morrison is a pretty man he cares more about collecting your retainer money from his clients once he does that he will not fight for your case he will side with the opposing attorney and when the case for them. Robert Morrison should be disbarred and he should have charges brought against him he has broken many ethical oath he will not return phone calls emails or texts he does not show up for scheduled court dates.
