Kimmel & Silverman, P.C. is a law firm with an office in Ambler, PA. At this office location, there are 4 lawyers practicing lemon law, consumer law, warranty law and 1 other area of law.
I have mixed feelings about this firm. They are a auto lemon law firm and it is obvious from the outset that they operate on volume not quality. However, the alternative was to manage the case on my own and I was getting the run around by the car company. K&S were able to resolve my case with a settlement within a few months. So although I sacrificed financially on the settlement, I saved time and aggravation getting it resolved. So it was a trade off I could live with.
They were not very responsive and I felt that I had to push them to respond. It took several calls and emails before they returned my call. Also, I don't think they had my best interest in mind.
They are scammers, my brand new car in the shop for 4 months so hired for the Lemmon law, they told me they would get me everything back & more on a buyback so I trusted them, never heard from the lawyer after initial hire, I get papers from the car company for the buyback to sign so I call them & was told to just sign it, I did then found out it cost me almost 2,000 dollars for the buyback when I returned with the paperwork, I lost my 10,000 deposit & 10 months of car payments plus payed 2,000 for them to buy it back & the lawyer says that’s the Lemmon law!! They are scam artist just making $1500 off any case they think will be a buyback, my advice is take it from me and look for a reputable lawyer, one well known & don’t worry because the company has to pay for the lawyer when you win I found out, I never had a chance to win and lost big time, WORST LAWYER EVER!
