William Clint Barkley is an absolute joke for a state attorney. He allows the opponent attorney to call the shots. Does not fight for you at all, was on the opponent side. Pushes you to take a plea deal without looking or taking into consideration at your supporting evidence witnesses and statements. Did not go over the discovery or witness statements, Had to ask him to show me. Tells the other attorney everything when he should some of it confidential to fight for your case. Kicks the spouse out when they are grilling him about facts. He doesn’t have the backbone to be an attorney. Please please please if he is yours find a new one, request a new one whatever you have to do. HE IS SCARED TO FIGHT IN TRIAL. He tries everything to not get to that even tries to verbally scare you.
Don't use this lawyer. He can't handle big cases to police officers being messy. He is afraid of law enforcement. Amarillo really needs to investigate their detective, sargents, they are messy af. They lie, cheat and prey on vulnerable women who are victims. But this lawyer basically ran off when all the solid evidence was brought to him. He literally had barely nothing to do. Because it was done already. Geez, what a moron.
