Never told me my Appeal was denied, I found out by sheriffs looking for me with a warrant 8 months later. James Bryan Johnston blamed USPS (no attempt to call me, I stopped calling him because he told me to, that he would inform me when anything develops in my case). Receptionist lied multiple times about when my Habeus Corpus was mailed out (It was filed 11.5 months later). I told Bryan I wanted Habeus Corpus on federal level, he advised I have to do State first (I told him this before Appeal was denied, so 8 months wasted there). I had a 2 year sentence and he didn't file the Habeus until 16 months after incarcerated, then being denied 4 months later, leaving me only 4 months left to file on federal level. Bryan chose a few claims from a list I provided to put on my State Habeus but he didn't inform me that I would not be able to raise the ones he discarded in the federal Habeus. I honestly hate to bash the guy, he is very knowledgeable, but this was my experience with him.
