Hired Attorney

I hired Mr Boren for my husbands criminal defense case. Gave him what he asked for in full. He was pleasant and welcoming at the initial consultation. Went over details of the case etc he told me SELF DEFENSE WAS NOT A CRIME, which I am aware of, told me it was probably dismissible. Basically told me what I wanted to hear at first. He boasted on and on about his great reviews on the internet, when leaving his office I really hoped and prayed that he was a honest attorney/person. Turned out he was like the rest. Dishonest, rude, short tempered, judge full and probably lazy. My husband couldn’t even ask him questions without him getting upset and rudely answering his questions. On one occasion I called him and he completely changed his attitude (from when I met him at his office). It really saddened me to learn I put my trust in him and gave him 8500 dollars for something A PUBLIC DEFENDER WOULD HAVE PROBABLY DONE A BETTER JOB AT. I was honest and straight with him.
