I was an out-of-state client who retained the services of Vayman & Teitelbaum in late 2012. We concluded our business in May, 2013. The attorney who represented me was Esther Vayman. I have nothing but high praise for the work she did for me. She was both compassionate and competent during a very difficult time in my life. Her manner was both personal and professional, and I always felt my case was as important to her as a much larger case would be. Thank you, Esther!
We paid $4,000 to have a Will and Restatement updated and still did not get it finished. i had to make final corrections and do the final typing of Both the Will and the Restatement had a minor change from a generation skipping to a dispersement upon death. We had to provide substantial written details to help in the preparation.
I can’t believe the positive reviews for this firm are real. Before hiring V&T please know that the reviews of people saying they were taken advantage of is exactly what happened to me. I paid over $25,000 for a divorce case, including custody, and nothing was ever done on my behalf. No court dates. No temporary custody order. Nothing was ever even filed with the court. I had a couple of brief phone calls and email exchanges. Initially, Barry Eidex was my assigned attorney but several weeks later was fired due to not overcharging clients. I know this because my Client Coordinator, Loni Mile, told me via text message. My replacement attorney Amanda Dickens did nothing other than charge me for “behind the scenes” work that never amounted to anything. I had another lawyer review my charges along with the work produced and was told I was “grossly overcharged”. I now have a lengthy complaint with the GA Bar and will file a lawsuit if necessary to recover funds. Stay away from this firm!
