Very honest and straightforward throughout the legal process
I hired Shepherd and long for over three years and it took them that long just to get me in court for less than an hour. They told me right before I paid them the retainer that they would have no issues getting me some form of visitation with my daughter. They never called me. I always had to call them. They reset me more than four times in less than a six month period after they lost the case, there was no accountability. They only sent me a bill for the time that they spent losing my casing court the fact that Other people are going to hire this man in the future to represent them with their family or custody issues. Worries me because of how horrible of an experience I’ve had.
Never called me about my case I always called them, they only documents I received prior to my court date was how much I needed to pay not how prepared I needed to be or what was needed for my case to be won, he lost my chance at seeing my daughter and in the process crippled me financially and the time he wasted not winning my case is time I’ll never get to spend with my daughter, do not hire him if you want to win. If I could describe them in any one word it’s “disappointing”.
I hired Kevin for a rather complicated case. He was confident he could handle the case. I was also confident after the initial meeting. I was very disappointed to learn that he only wanted to take my retainer. He was extremely unresponsive. He would only respond if I owed money. He also did not show up to court on two separate occasions, dragging my case out an additional 6 months. He, of course, always had his "excuse." Upon settling the case, I feel I was lied to my Kevin Shepherd. I am certain he will disagree, as there is no actual recording of his lie. If you use this attorney, which I cannot recommend, be sure to record everything he says. He is slippery.
Greatly disappointed with this attorney. A complete waste of money and time. He didn't do anything that he said he was going to do. After getting my retainer fee him him and his staff disappeared. Barely returning calls or messages. Never answering my questions.
Received very poor service. Kevin barely responded to emails or phone calls. A simple custody case turned into a nightmare that he lost and I ended up having to pay legal fees as well as losing custody. Don't hire this loser.
Never answers phone calls or emails. You won't know where your case stands. I ended up losing custody and had to pay legal fees. Kevin is inadequate to say the least as a lawyer.
