Shepherd & Long, P.C. is a law firm established in 1993 with an office in Alcoa, TN. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing personal injury, auto/car accidents, trucking accidents and 125 other areas of law.
Kevin was great. He and was staff was wonderful to me during this time. I could not say enough good things about him.

Maxey and her team were such a blessing during my time of need. Her assistant, Sharon, was equally as great! Maxey was competitively priced, extremely responsive, thorough, and offered simplistic explanation of the steps and process overall. She led me through an uncontested divorce and a real estate exchange + private loan agreement. Documents included Martial Dissolution Agreement, Final Judgement for Divorce, Compliant For Divorce, Quit Claim Deed, Deed of Trust, and a Promissory Note. She also handled all the register of deed recordings. I write this review to not only show how highly I think of Maxey and her services, but to help any others who were in my shoes get the nudge of confidence that they need to make the call and get the help they need. I had no prior legal experience when I learned of my impending divorce, but with Maxey's help I gained knowledge, and more importantly comfort. I hope others can be helped in the same way I was!
We had a very good experience working with Kevin and Maxey. Our son passed away unexpectedly and tragically. His widow then refused to allow us any visitation with our grandchildren. This was like having a double tragic loss. We hired Kevin after our initial consultation with him. He certainly knows the law regarding grandparent visitation rights in Tennessee. Kevin was able to negotiate a settlement with the opposing attorney just before our trial was to begin and the judge signed it. We have been having regular visitation since then. We just spent a week with the kids at a resort in Sevierville. Thank you again Kevin and Maxey.

Absolutely would hire this firm again and again. Ms. Long and Mr. Shepherd are both very intelligent, knowledgeable, and put me at ease immediately. They explained everything to me as the case went a long. They were very easy to get in touch with and make appointments with. They were awesome.
