It is hard to wrap Clifton up in a space this small. My son-in-law is the one who is actually his client and I was just doing some research myself to make sure they have a good attorney. From what my daughter says, he and his secretary are the most kindest and caring individuals,which we all know is rare to find in an attorney. He went to bat with NO notice for my family. For whoever is the ding bat that wrote he does not serve papers properly it may be because he is not a process server. duh!
He is patient in communicating legal matters with clients. Mr. Davidson returns calls a soon a possible. His office ensures you know how your money is being managed as they send out frequent invoices. In general, they communicate well about any other pending legal matters.
Mr. Davidson is very knowledgeable and has a great deal of information to share. He is willing to explain the legal system and how things will work. He does not waste my time or money with little things that do not affect the outcome of the case. He has a very good sense of what issues need to be addressed and what issues can wait or even be ignored. I would recommend Mr. Davidson to anyone needing a lawyer.
I hired Clifton Davidson during the worst time of my life, when I was fighting to get my sons back. He looked me in the face and told me I had a “great” chance, even saying it was almost guaranteed. I trusted him with my heart, my money, and my children’s future. I paid over $6,000 just to retain him, and every time I had a question, it felt like it came with another bill. I borrowed from family, took loans, and used every resource I had because he made me believe I would be reunited with my boys. When court came, he didn’t fight for me. He didn’t defend me as a mother. I felt completely alone standing there while my entire world was on the line. Things I gave him for my case were never returned, and communication was cold and dismissive. Because of how my case was handled, I lost all rights to my sons and they were adopted. That pain never goes away. Just because I struggled in my past doesn’t mean I stopped loving my kids. They are on my mind every single day. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!
Dealing with this lawyer was a frustrating and disappointing experience. From the very start, it was obvious that money was the only thing that mattered to them. There was no sense of professionalism, empathy, or even basic decency — just an aggressive push for payment at every turn. Conversations felt transactional, not collaborative, and any concern or question was met with a price tag rather than real guidance. It didn’t feel like they were trying to help; it felt like they were trying to cash in. If you’re looking for someone who actually cares about your case or the people involved, this is not the lawyer for you.
